VIB '09 Review

Well, VIB '09 was a total success!! I was so happy with the soiree and everyone that was involved either as a vendor, helper or a guest made my day! I want to thank everyone that is reading this for helping to make one of my crazy dreams come true!!

First I want to mention who won the great door prizes we had:

We also had two vendor prizes for the best design and they went to BGB Weddings and Royal Icing. Beautiful tables!

The day was filled with beautiful brides (and a few gracious grooms) that were able to sip on a mimosa, have some great hors d'oeuvres and visit with some of the best wedding vendors, all while listening to live music! All the brides that came through voiced that they had a great time and were able to get vendor information in a relaxed yet classy atmosphere.

Not to mention the great swag bags that we gave to each bride that was filled with goodies, including a t-shirt from Shenanigans saying "Leave the Shenanigans to me 'cause I'm the bride to be" & a brand new edition of KY Bride Magazine and so much more. The bags themselves were adorable and went perfectly with our soiree colors! They were all from Get Married and I have to admit that I snuck one for myself!

Here is my table, I incorporated the shows colors with a natural feel using branches straight from my front yard (I should say forest and anyone who has seen my yard will agree), curly willow, cat tails and green ameranthus. I added color with some super cute hanging lanterns and colored crystals that I had hanging from the branches. All around the centerpiece I had some fun arrangements with yellow, green and orange roses, green buttons, hypericum berries and yellow and orange ameranthus.

I hope all had a great day and I am so excited about some of the ideas I have planned for VIB Soiree 2010! Hope to see you there!!

Four more days ...

There are only four more days to go until V.I.B. '09!! I can't wait, I get more fun news every day. This is going to be one event you won't want to miss!

And now I have some great news for grooms- while the bride is checking out all the pretty linens and make up, you can take a tour of the museum for a reduced price of $3. Then meet back up for a cocktail. The entry fee for grooms is waived for our event.

Bride's Swag Bags

Swag bags are all the rage with Hollywood and the elite parties that celebrities attend. All our VIB brides are going to get their own Swag bag at our event and it will be full of goodies from participating vendors. I love these gorgeous Get Married bags that we have been able to get and I can't wait to see local KY and TN brides with them.

Come prepared to pose on our red carpet for our local paparazzi!

V.I.B. is 2 weeks away!!!

We are getting close to the premier Very Important Bride Bridal Soiree!! Saturday, August 29th is two weeks away. The response from both brides and vendors has been overwhelming! We keep adding exciting elements every day. This is going to be a VIB experience all the way with a red carpet entrance, mimosas, string trio and much more!

I am so excited about the great news I just received! We are going to get a brand new autographed book by the fabulous Colin Cowie for a door prize!!! That is reason enough to come, without the fact that every bride deserves a little V.I.P. treatment! I've been out today networking with vendors and the response for V.I.B. was awesome. I'll be sure to start the roster going for every vendor that has signed up so far. When is the last time you were treated like a V.I.P.?

Bowling Green's Very Important Bride '09 hosted by ...

Welcome to Bowling Green's V.I.B. '09 (Very Important Bride) official blog. V.I.B. has been designed for today's busy bride and is co-hosted by Party 1 Superstore and Lasting Impressions. Most brides have a few other things on their plate when they start to plan one of the most extravagant events of their lives. Whether it be school, work, children or a combination of the above, squeezing time into your already hectic life to search for vendors for your wedding has been known to make people wish they could elope! We have hand selected vendors by invitation only to make your process a little easier.

Here is a few main details: V.I.B. '09 will be held on Saturday, August 29th from 11-4pm at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. The entry cost will be $10 and this will include a cocktail (for those over 21), a SWAG bag filled with goodies from all participating vendors, fabulous hors d'oeuvres, cake samples, hot of the rack dress ideas, and much more ...
